My friends Burt Orange is here to tell you like it is. The content is a product of free speech and will not be watered down to make a clueless few feel good.
Oh by the way, Burt Orange, is a pen name and is in no way meant to mean a real Burt Orange if there happens to be one. So give Burt a break, it's the Patriotic thing to do.

The Boss ! Bruce Springsteen has always been the blue collar's musician since the 1970's and while that has not changed, his music has branched to other styles. The music and lyrics his band serves up to the thirsty ears of generations, embodies the theme of the times. From Thunder Road to Streets of Philadelphia and on up to the newer tunes such as Magic from the album of the same name.
You can find just as many people that like the music, the tunes, as well as the lyrics. However the ones that relish the lyrics can read almost what they want into them, besides what Bruce has meant for them too. Born in the USA still rings in the hearts, minds and ears of most Springsteen fans, but true fans will take them all. Philadelphia was a small departure but nonetheless a painted picture of words from where whence he came.
His new album Magic and the song Magic you won't hear to many reviews about, but it's an impression among many that it has to do with the state of the country today. These days we are under an illusion of what we think our country should be. Bruce eludes to the fact that they are all magicians, "Trust none of what you hear And less of what you see". You decide who you think they are, I have and I know Bruce Springsteen has.
